Nursery Opening Times

Little Robins Nursery in Melksham, Wiltshire is open all year round from Monday to Friday except for Christmas Week and Bank holidays.

The Nursery is open from 8.00am to 5:30pm with a flexible charging approach to suit your needs.

The minimum day for children is 6 hours around a 9am to 3pm. However, please call our Melksham Nursery to discuss specific requirements and availability and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.

Employer’s Vouchers

We are registered with a variety of voucher providers that enable you to pay for your childcare before tax straight from your salary. This saves both the employee and the employer money.

The 2004 Finance Act introduced a new tax exemption for employer-provided childcare vouchers. From 6 April 2006, employees can receive from their employers vouchers for childcare worth up to £243 per month and there will be no tax or NICs charge.

Free Entitlement

From 1st September 2009 all 3 – 4 year olds are entitled to up to 15 hrs of free flexibly delivered childcare for 38 weeks per year. From 1st September 2017 eligible families can claim an additional 15 hours to total 30 funded hours. (The funding can be spread over 52 weeks if your child comes all year round this averages out to approx 11 free hours per week ( 22 for 30 hours) but for the whole year). This is available from the term after their third birthday and is paid straight to the nursery of your choice. For 30 hours an eligibility code MUST be obtained and verified the term before the funding starts. See www.childcarechoices.gov.uk  Additional services may be charged for E.G. Meals, outings etc. Ask the nursery if they deliver the free entitlement flexibly as per government guidelines?

Little Robins Nursery Melksham also accepts free entitlement for two year olds if space is available and funding is applicable.
